NeuroSPICE: When Circuits Stop Ticking and Start Thinking

A circuit simulator normally moves forward one small step at a time. Calculate the voltages now. Advance the clock. Calculate them again. Repeat until the simulated waveform reaches the end of the requested interval—or until the solver discovers a particularly creative reason to stop converging. NeuroSPICE proposes a different arrangement.
